Excess mileage charges explained and current price.
In order to keep the basic rental charges as low as possible we operate a fair use policy which is calculated at approximately 60% of the basic hire fee you are paying.
A typical new motorhome costs around £70,000.00 with a useful life cycle of around 100,000 miles which means every mile carries a depreciation figure of approximately 70p plus servicing maintenance of roughly 30p per mile.
For example if your basic hire fee without any extras is £1000 you will receive somewhere in the region of 600 free miles to drive the motorhome without incurring any excess mileage charges.
Our excess mileage charges are currently £1.00 per mile but only over the amount of free miles shown on your rental contract.
